Experience & Qualifications
There are a number of key skills and abilities that are held in high regard by employers seeking staff in the insurance industry. Also, previous experience in the designated area is usually a must. Some of the most popular criteria include:
Tier 1 or 2 compliance depending on nature of role
Diploma in Financial Services often preferred but not essential
Qualification in Banking & Finance related discipline
The minimum level of previous experience in the area
A high degree of computer literacy including proficiency with the MS Office suite.
Corporate and professional presentation and communication skills
A positive "can do" attitude
A demonstrated level of initiative
Strong negotiation and problem solving ability
